East Front game does not advance after last turn and Marshall Z's speech

Hello,

I previously found a fix in the forum that I can no longer find. I thought that the forum messages would always be there and did not copy it down because of that.

My game is John Tiller's campaign series, east front. The error is that at the end of the battle, after Marshall Z makes his speech, it goes straight to the initial screen of choosing from east front, west front and rising sun and does not award pts or a medal and does not go to the new mission screen.

I then click east front, campaign, resume save for the name of my commander to get to the mission screen. There, I can only click resume mission and not new mission. I click resume mission which brings me to the axis player screen for the last turn since I was the attacker. I click it and then end of mission because there are no more axis units present. I then see the victory points, click okay and then Marshal Z gives his speech. Then I go through the whole process again with no change.


In this mission, I have over $13K in points. My mission date is 12/7/42, I have over $2.45M points and have played over 105 games as a Soviet Army, so I would like to continue.

This happened previously, I found the fix by Jason P., used the fix and it corrected the problem earlier in 2021 that allowed me to proceed to a new mission..

Please send me the info for the fix.

Hi I had a similar problem whereby any campaign that I played was treated as a Scenario in that it didn't link with the next and so could not progress I tried several tips to cure this problem (Win10) but to no avail. Whilst tinkering I noticed that whilst writing my text cursor was a coloured bar rather than the normal black vertical line. I didn't like this so I found an item labelled "Text Cursor Enhancer", selected this, disabled it so as to get the single vertical line back. Next time I played a Campaign (very shortly after) it all worked correctly. I have no idea why this should have any effect but it worked for me. So if you have your Text Cursor Enhancer on try it with it off.
