I keep firing a unit instead of moving it after I fire at something with a unit. LOL I forget to turn it back to movement.

the main wargame I play is Advanced tactics and move and attack are different but you dont change to attack, so I forget all the time.
Favoritism is alive and well here.

You can also fire by holding the <Ctrl> key down and right clicking at unit you want to fire at. Having selected the firing unit(s) to be active first. This way, you won't have to change the Move icon to Fire mode. And vice versa, afterwards.

I am not much of an hot-key player, but that's the one I use as my default firing mode.

Yeah, +1 for the ctrl key. In all of these Tiller-derived games I do that. It's second nature now. I never use the icons for move/fire.
