My apprehension about this game

Decisive Campaigns: Ardennes Offensive is the fourth wargame in the Decisive Campaign series. Covering the battles in the Ardennes between December 1944 and January 1945, it brings to life Operational wargaming by lowering the scale to just above tactical level.

My apprehension about this game

It seems hard to understand how there would be any balance in it. It was so historically unbalanced. What is the point?

I am sure there is a rebuttal to this right?

The small solution was certainly viable, particularly if the fuel situation was planned and executed more effectively.

Each scenario in the game has victory points assigned to it. Thus the question does not becomes who wins the whole deal, but how well did I do, compared to history.

Another point, which I understand few will use: Using the Simple Editor alone (which even I can do), it's a sandbox game.

Now, creating entirely different engagements may be another story, but tweaking some things about the various scenarios can give some very satisfying results and greatly increase replay-ability.

Best wishes!
