Air units no longer intercept naval units

Can't believe I'm the first one to notice? Easily reproducable/testable in hotseat.

It may be that your air units are below 50% readiness, or strength?

Be sure they are set to naval interception...

It was changed that...

Naval ONLY intercepts naval.
Land ONLY intercepts land.

And HOPEFULLY Strategic or Airfield intercept anyone. But I have not tested that...I am always on land or sea.


Issue was German planes intercepting the French fleet running up and down the coast eating up air.

Just tested...

Ground only intercepts ground.
Naval only intercepts naval.
Strat and Airfield intercept nothing from what I can tell.

This is a huge change and I missed it. Clearly most of my opponents did too.

It was a request I made. I do NOT often go after naval...

In small fleets yes...large it is dangerous.
