Returning to Command

Post by aotino »

If I were to come back and completely get updated with the latest version of Command, and acquire all the scenarios and upgrades available, how would I go about doing that? I don't mind simply rebuying the game and all extras, rather than integrating the game I bought 4 years ago. It seems like a cleaner and simpler way of getting current. Could someone give me a step by step approach to achieving this goal?
Thank you ahead of time as I really appreciate any help in this matter. ;)

FIsrt off, if you want to be most current, buy CMO. The stack looks like this...

Buy CMO
Update or make sure its updated to 1147.42.
There is a beta update 1147.43.

Keep in mind there are official version numbers like 1.04, and the 1147 numbers the devs use to track builds between version numbers. Its those build numbers that are the most important.

After that, its all the DLCs listed in the product page. There are campaigns and "Live" single scenarios. There is a special DLC app you use to add all the DLCs. Its available with the installer and most recent patch in the Matrix "My Page" section of the main website.

One thing to add - if you had any of the DLCs for CMANO, buy CMO from the same source (Matrix if you originally bought from Matrix, Steam if you originally bought from Steam). The DLC licenses should (and definitely will in a Steam-to-Steam upgrade) transfer over.
