Panzermuseum Munster ( Germany ) Pics ?

I visited the Panzermuseum in Munster - Germany and made some pics. Here are 3 examples. Sadly the ones in the buildings are all a bit dark, problem was outside quite sunny and inside too dark.

Perhaps you like the examples and want some more ?

PS: i have pics from normandy france and belgium flandres and some from the navy museum in Wilhelmshaven - Germany.
Should i upload them somewhere ? Would you be interested to take a look ?

The 1st is a bridgelayer used in the Bundeswehr on a M48 chasis !

the second one is a T55 AMPB2 ( or so ) a ex-main battle tank from the east german army ! it was upgraded with reactive armor btw.

The 3rd one is a Pz. III M used formerly by the Africa Korps !

The pics look good. Looks like a place worth visiting if I choose to travel to Germany (may happen sometime next year). I would also love to see more pictures.

yes, "old europe" is worth a visit

but not only that, all europe is nice.

i sometimes want to travel to scandinava, too!

Thanks for sharing these photographs. I am amazed to see an A7V in existence. I thought they would have been sent to the scrapyard after WW1. Were you able to go inside it? I only ask, because I've read that they had a crew of eighteen, and I've always wondered just how roomy they are.

The only place like this I've ever been to is Bovington Camp in Dorset. I know that they are currently restoring a Tiger 1 to running order. I would love to see it been driven.

If memory serves right, this A7V tank is a rebuild. The only original one is in Australia, for all places...

voriax is right. the A7v in munster is a rebuild ( probably a good one ).

i was inside a M48 and now know what it means to be a tanker. considering the fact that much older tanks than the M48 are even more crammed i must honour the man who fight and died (:( ) in these vehicles. nothing for me i would get paranoia inside ( but i´m a 1,90 man so ).....

If u come to Scandinavia,come to Estonia.We have some really well preserved tanks here.One of them,T-34/76 was lately recovered from swamp and it is in quite good condition.Thenwe have Tiger I,Panther A,some Soviet more modern tanks/APCs and lots of other cool stuff + beautiful landscape.

Australia! I wonder why they shipped it over there? I've read that only twenty A7V tanks were produced. Some of them were used by the British and French to control rioters in Germany after WW1 and the Polish Army used five of them against Russia in 1920.

WW1 tanks have always intrigued me, because they look so menacing with all those guns sprouting from them, and yet they must be hopelessly inefficient, slow and unreliable machines. It must have been absolute hell to have to fight inside one.
