How to tell mining station range?

Post by incbob »

How do I tell how far away my mining station will mine?
I am in an asteroid area. How many of the asteroids will my mining station mine?

In picture below what is the green halo around my selected mining station?

BTaxis, I disagree. When you are zoomed all the way in, you will see a circular area with different shades. ANY resources within that region will be collected by the mining station. To verify, you can count the abundance in each asteroid and it will total to the abundance collected by the station.

Figuring out where that will be before placing the station is a bit problematic. I have not been successful in placing a mining station at a particular spot. What I end up doing is placing it on a particular asteroid that will hopefully pick up the others nearby.
Bridge is the best wargame going .. Where else can you find a tournament every weekend?
