Ignoring a user

Post by nukkxx5058 »

Hi, How can I ignore a forum user and stop seeing their messages ?
I think it was possible on the old forum but can't find the way now.
Thank you.

Try clicking on the user you want to ignore and add him as a foe. That might work.

Just found this:
What are my Friends and Foes lists?
If you add a user to your foes list, any posts they make will be hidden by default.

So I won't see my "foe's" posts but will they still see mine ?

Just realized there's no green dot to ignore any more.
One more negative...

So will your "foes" continue to see your messages ? Because you won't see theirs.

I don't know the exact mechanics, but adding a user to a your Foe lists means (at least to me) it will block all messages from that user, I don't think it blocks all your messages to him, but maybe it does?

When you say "blocks all messages" do you mean PMs or all forum posts too ?

Sure, but I don't like having foe's if its only for testing I am good.

Go ahead and make me a foe and then post something in 5 minutes and I'll see if I can see it. Then I'll post something in 6 minutes.?

I don't know about blocks all messages as I am only guessing...

I never had a reason to block/foe anyone (I am just an easy going guy) lol

So it looks like it blocks the post from the user but you can still click on it to see the post.

So it reminds me of "Hey I don't like this fellow so I'll block him as my foe" and then 30 minutes goes by and you see those blocked messages and then you start to think "What is my foe saying about me?" and then you click the message to see and get all irritated again lol.

:D
