Steam game is locking up when I as Nap am attacked in Vienna

Steam game is locking up when I as Nap am attacked in Vienna. When I select any defensive option the game locks up. I have restarted from a save and the game locks on outflank, cordon, or defend. I have to reboot the pc to break the lock.
I am running windows 11 on a pretty high powered machine.

This is the first report I've seen of a Steam install. Is this the v1.23.08 release or have you tried adding my v1.24.01 Beta? A game save would be helpful for me to look at.

I will say that most all players with the Matrix install are not having lockup issues. So there may be an issue with the Steam install that maybe Steam or Matrix tech support needs to look at. More info would be helpful.

Right. I was not aware of a Steam release. I just checked Steam and could not find Empires in Arms.
