Galactic Directional Keys?

I was watching Das Tactic's playthrough and noticed he used a key to put the galactic map back to "Galactic North", which would be handy to have when the map defaults to a different direction. I'll be darned if I can find what key that is for n/s/e/w facing?

Q and E to rotate
Ctrl+Q and E to rotate to one of the 8 compass directions.

Actually, that doesn't work as ctl key makes no difference. But I played around and found out that hitting shift + q/e does what he did in the video.

One of the good features of DW2
it is one of the games where you can configure all the keys yourself.

Which is also amazing to look up all the keys :)
