Ion Sheath Armor (v2) :    105      8.00     16.00
Ion Damage Defense is only counted once. So at the moment adding more than one Ion Sheath Armor doesn't make any sense - last upgrade showed all Armor were changed to Ion Sheath Armor. What's intended, what's bugged?

Where do I find Reactive Rating? Either I'm blind or there is no Reactive Rating shown in Design Overview. At the moment I have no clue whether Reactive Rating is counted only once (highest value, like Ion Damage Defense) or Reactive Rating is cumulated.

Since there is a huge difference in required resources it makes a big difference what components you're using. Yes, when the single Ion Sheath Armor becomes deactivated the whole bonus is lost. Resources are sparse, more or less, and thus your designs have to count in what your freighters can provide. So it's not an academic question.

You find it under armor, or all items. But yes, the auto design is using it poorly :/

... argh, you mean hoovering over Hull + Armor under Defense reveals some hidden numbers that should have been added to the visible UI? Can someone please tell the person responsible for this hide & seek that finding those numbers shouldn't be a minigame within the game?

You can find the word armor 21 times in the manual. And not one is referring to anything of the above...

Yeah, there's a number of things that are still somewhat suboptimal in the DW2 UI. It's a dramatic improvement on the old DWU UI, but I'm hoping Erik and Elliot are open to doing another pass at some point when all the other more immediate problems have been sorted out.

There are a number of small things that just aren't great, and the ship design window with it's hidden numbers and frankly rather poor use of screen space is one of them. It makes manual ship design possible but not really convenient.
