AI SPEED?

Post by David Hansen »

I've played thru all the smaller scenerios on normal/normal settings...2 major and 2 minor results. (as Germans).

With those experiences I've seen the AI make some "questionable" decisions...ie. too passive in its attempts to defend victory hexes...retreating IMHO too quickly. The AI seems to value attrition losses much more than victory point hexes.

As I start the medium length scenerios, I'm thinking about use the "slow" AI thinking settings vs. normal. Any advice/impressions from those who use the "slow" AI thinking setting? Pros vs. cons?

Having only played as Germans...in the medium battles...are they designed to be played as the Germans vs. the Allied AI for the best gameplay experience...or balanced from both perspectives?
