Small Fleet vs. Regular 1941 Scenarios

Post by Kriegsspieler »

I just wanted to check in here to ask what the current thinking is about the choices between these two scenarios. Which one seems preferable?

Right now there is a bug that makes subs a little to effective against surface and it is more noticeable vs small groups, other then that small fleet is a little better imho as it give variety to naval engagements

Thanks. Can you clarify what you mean by the variety of naval engagements? Do you mean the variety of results?

Small Fleet should be default, I refuse to play "Large Deathstar Fleets"

with the large fleets most everyone cruise around with big stacks and its almost always carrier battles with 5 or six carriers and there are very few surface battles or small 2 or 3 carrier battles, with small fleet it divides it up so you still have the big battles but it more broke up like it was for the most part and you get some small engagements where it's a few battle ships or cruisers
