Testing new scenarios issuing a challenge

I noticed that one can issue challenges with their own scenarios..which is a great way to test them.

Question: will the map graphic overlay file be shared as well?

No, map image won't be shared. They'll have to have it in their map directory as otherwise a tiled map will be used.
Map images can be very large and it would be make the game files too big if they included the map image.
