Question re sig line picture

Post by warspite1 »

Since the new forum was installed I appear to have lost the HMS Warspite picture in the sig line. Anyone know why or if I can get this back? I don't have the picture saved anywhere as this was kindly done for me by someone with skills I don't possess. Has it disappeared for good?

Thank-you.

One way is to use a free online hosting site like imgur, post your image there in your account and then back here in Matrix click on your name in the upper right (the upside down triangle) and select Profile and then by your name you'll see an Edit Profile click on that and then on the left side click on the Edit signature link thing and then put the following in your signature box:

Use the image tag ( [ img ]https://i.imgur.com/SomeSpecialCharacte ... lineSource[ /img ] ) without the spaces.

The above shows as:

Someone posted that using Google Search for WITP-AE forum topics took them to the old forums. If you can get to the old forums that way, your signature pic might still be there.

Maybe the picture is still out there somewhere= You just need to figure out a way to search for it so that the search engine might find it? Or is that an impossible task?
