Type 45 DDG not firing main gun

Hi all,

So I tried creating my very first mission but have come across an issue - it might be my error, or a bug such as a missing Director- I'm not sure. I've attached a zipped SCEN file.

I've placed a UK Type 45 Batch 2 DDG well within gun range of a Russian ship. I've set everything I can think of relating to doctrine / WRA / Sensors, target ship is hostile etc, appropriately. But the Type 45 won't fire it's main gun (#1659 - 114mm/55 Mk 8 HE(MP)ER HE).

if I press shift+F1 for manual targetting I see for that mount: "Automatic fire is not possible. Gun has no local control and no available directors".

If I add a UK Type 23 Duke (#2791 - F236 Montrose UK 2022) then that fires the main gun as expected (manual targeting shows 'Automatic fire is allowed' in green).

Build is 1.04 1147.45.
DB3000 is v493

Yeah missing FC. I added a DB request to fix.

For now you can just add the other Type 045 variant (Daring) and it should work.

Ah great, thank you very much for looking into that and working out the issue. Nice to know it wasn't something daft that I did.

I shall use HMS Daring as you suggest.
