How to Protect Convoy Routes From Air Units Raiding

Post by canuckgamer »

We are playing our first PBEM game of WPP and I am the Allies. Having Japanese air units raiding the convoy route by India is something new that didn't happen in WP given that there were no airfields for the Germans that were in range of Allied convoy routes.
The Japanese aircraft are sinking a lot of MM's. I have one Allied fighter in range of the convoy route but so far I don't see it doing any interceptions. I checked the rules and it only indicates that escorts will attack subs that are raiding so how do you protect against air units that are raiding a convoy route?

For your information, if you are placing a tactical bomber in Narvik, it has no problem to attack the Arctic convoy route.

Good point, may be this is not coded to do so.

Escorts have AA in them. Put a ton of escorts in the zone.
