Channel Island Supply

I may have just missed it but is there a way to supply the Channel Islands besides by air? As near as I can tell, from turn 1 on the islands receive no supply. That simply seems odd.

it really doesn't matter, enough is there to stop the garrison evaporating due to lack of supply, it will be isolated once the Allies control the Normandy ports.

as historically, it can be ignored till the end of the war, the Allies bypassed it for a reason - if I recall even allowed low scale smuggling to ensure enough food reached the islands to avoid too much impact on the local population. But they weren't liberated till right at the end of the war,

Thanks very much. It just seems like a strange way the game handles it.
