Try to estimate the building and expansion costs of an air base from 16.6.3.

After the total of the construction values of the construction and support units has been modified by the terrain and weather, how many construction points are required to build up one size of an air base?

How many tons of supply are required for each construction point?

The programmer should be able to provide the answer. Should Dennis be the right person to be consulted?

Seems like you just need to have them on speed dial!

From gaming experience, the following seems to be what I have learned.

For a clear hex, in clear weather in full supply:
* to go from a level 0->1 Airbase, with 1 construction engineer? 1 turn

* to go from a level 1->2 Airbase, with 1 construction engineer? 1-2 turns

* to go from a level 2->3 Airbase, with 1 construction engineer? 2-3 turns (IIRC)

----------

I know this from routinely building / expanding Airbases in Romania on turn 1, GC.

Also know that without a construction engineer, they make no progress (or so little it is negligible...).

Hope this is helpful.
