Weird File Numbering

Post by canuckgamer »

My friends and I have been playing the Combat Mission series of games from the beginning so about 20 years. When playing PBEM we would attach the game file to the email if it was small enough or use Dropbox if it was too large.
I bought the Matrix version of Cold War using my anniversary coupon and just started a PBEM with a friend using Dropbox rather than the Matrix PBEM system. We are playing a scenario called Mittel something 1979. Oddly enough instead of having file numbers starting with 001 and so on the year keeps changing so the latest file is Mittel something 1996.
Next game we will probably use the Matrix PBEM system as it is easier to use because I assume it is similar to what we use for games like War Plan.
