Having played several days of the WAR scenario on several occasions I notice the KG Scherff (150 Pz Brigade) movement mode changes. At times its foot and others times motorized. Considering its TOE and that of the Brigade surely all the KG's in 150 should be motorized?

Yes, a lot of other units suffer from this change of movement mode. I have yet figured out why this happens. They have enough fuel ... but!! The game needs a convoy system where units of a particular formation in road column follow each other as they drive across the map. Like a snake or centipede. I am pretty sure German units on the move did not use radios to insure units of a formation ended up at the same location. No a convoy system is needed!

If a unit doesn't have 100% transport capability for the fighting elements, then the unit must pass a percentage chance to move at transport speed. If it fails that percentage chance, then it moves as a leg unit. At least, I think that is how it works.

I have seen two SS PZgrenadier units both with the same TO&E where one moves as a tracked unit and the other moves using foot. These were two units freshy placed on the map and each had the same stats; fuel, et al! Something else is going on. IMHO.
