Extended support for allies

I was thinking about proposing extended abilities to help your allies. Extension would be including ability to enter allies territory and/or sending them your own units/equipment to create their own units.
Implementing such feature would create few problems that would require attention.
First one is if we would send our own troops to allies territory, what would happen to them if alliance was broken due to some reason. My idea is that those troops would be marked as disarmed for a duration of travel to border (in case breaking military alliance/defensive alliance) or would take territory that they are in (in case of declaring war).
Other problem is logistics, and simple solution would be to use logistic pool of allies, but it would be bad idea in my opinion. Better way would be to merge or improve allied logistics by sending troops able to create logistics or any other way. Its better way since we don't have any access to data regarding allied logistics and it would be hard to 'guesstimate' how many units could be supported by current logistics.
