Multiple Mine Layers

If you bunch up ML and drop mines they have no effect. But if you lay them in one at a time it cumulates.

I've put two 8 ship convoys of MLs into two different ports....and USN bombards them at will with no mine hits.

Something wrong with the program that makes multiple MLs seem like just one?

I think it may be because of what the USN is using to bombard with. If the USN is using BB & CA it may not come into range of the minefields. If some DD's are mixed in it may be just bad luck on your part. Try sending multiple 1 ship ML TF's to the hex, it seems to have helped in my game vs AI if I do it that way instead of 1 large ML.
