Heavily Protected Convoys

Post by DeanD »

In April of '41, I am doing fairly well with Sealion. I get notified that the Allies have begun 'Heavily Protected Convoys' to the UK. Other than the splitting of the routes off the west coast of France and other changes to the US/Canadian routes, does this mean anything else? I can't find anything in the manual of a search of these forums. Thank you.

This is just for historical flavour, denoting that the route has changed and should be slightly harder for the Axis to get at.
