unit renames

Where is the information to be found when a unit renames - rules refer to 'event log' - but I can't find it.

yes, event log, section 'rename' have shown it below (admittedly for a turn where nothing was renamed so its empty):

not all renames are seen in proper category.
Air unit renames are under "Upgrade" for what ever reason. Might be related to a forced aircraft model change
OB upgrades may also force a unit rename, I believe this is placed just below its OB upgrade notice under "Upgrade". I consider this properly placed but may be something to improve (duplicate message into Rename section?)
Scheduled land unit renames which include an OB change are listed under Upgrade but not on rename

WitW dev team (aircraft data, partial data/scenario maintainer)
WitE2 dev team (aircraft data)
