[Suggestion] Mining Locations (F7): add filter for design

Post by Thineboot »

There is no easy way to find different designs.

When you buy mining stations they are spread all over the list. Either you have to upgrade them all automatically without knowing which one you choose, or you have to scroll down the while list, which is becoming longer and longer. You can try to spot other races designs by staring at zoomed out screen hoping to don't miss a blink while blinking from time to time to preserve your eyes. Not only becomes this more and more time consuming, it's just tedious and boring. At some point you'll eventually give up on playing your game and let the game take over for you, which is anything but satisfying.

When you have more than one design the above zoom-and-scroll workaround becomes obsolete even faster.

So at least let us filter Mining Locations by Planets and individual designs.

Adding an upgrade button, same spot as the Build Mining Station/Cancel building Mining Station would be very much appreciated. It would speed up any upgrade process for players preferring to do at least some upgrades by their own instead of fully automated upgrades.
