Read somewhere complaining about USN AA too strong. I also have the same question. So did a search and found this:

Now I totally agree to USN AA data setting in the game. It should be even higher if not considering the game balance. Feel sympathetic with Japanese pilots how desperate they were in 1944. They showed great courage but every effort seems meaningless.
