Changing computer

I have a new computer and want to play on my single game and a multiplayer game on this computer. What kind of datas do I have to save for the new computer or is it enough to just install Steam on the new PC?

If you are playing the game primarily through Steam, then as long as the Steam cloud saves are enabled for your game, then the saved game files will follow you to your new PC.

PBEM++ should be seamless as well in this regard.
