Replacing Destroyed Ground Units

Hey all,

I was reading up on fixing disabled/destroyed squads in the game. I was able to see what was needed to fix/replace disabled squads but unable to find the answer for destroyed squads. The only answer I found was in Chapter 16 of the rulebook where it said that "for the exception of HQ's and some Chinese units destroyed ground units are not replaced." Does this affect destroyed squads as well? Thanks in advance y'all.

There are reinforcements to the units in play to replace destroyed squads/devices and then there was a change where a player may be able to bring back a unit. If a player brings back a unit, it will be weak and it will take a long time to bring its strength back up. Most but not all destroyed Chinese units will return at a reduced strength.

Not sure if this is what you were asking for, but...

When you press button for Intelligence Screen (I) and click button Ground Units Destroyed, you get screen like this where you can "recall/re-buy" some units with Political Points:
