Yak1vs Yak7A

Post by Mehring »

The Yak7A is inferior to the Yak1 in max and cruise speeds, climb speed, maneuverability, max alt, load and range. The only possible improvement is a 1 point in endurance. Is this an accurate representation of the two planes? If so, why did the Soviets make the 7A?
