For the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War, Command Modern Operations is pleased to announce a new DLC that will bring you back to 1982.

Command Falklands contains fifteen scenarios and two bonus missions that put you in charge of the most significant units during the war between Argentina and the United Kingdom over the Falkland Islands off the coast of South America.

Take command of the Argentine forces or the British task force assembled in 48 hours to fight the Argentine invasion, manage units previously taken out of service in bonus scenarios such as the HMS Ark Royal, Buccaneer and Phantom Fighters long-range attack planes, and the aircraft carrier CVA-01.

Are you ready to counter the invasion?

as usual I can't wait! will scenarios be playable by both factions or will we have one or the other faction available depending on the scenario? will it make use of the new features of the beta, especially the multi-missions?

Thanks for the news :)

The mysterious scenario designer is a forum member? Perhaps he could post books and references used.

In the already available Falklands war scenarios, is where more evident is that the minimap shape should variable, hope you add this feature.

I believe longtime Command team member, and scenario builder, Paul Bridge, is an RN Falklands veteran, so it's almost certainly him

According to HalfLifeExpert, the scenario designer is you ;)

A series of 5 short videos from the IWM, explain the war from the British point of view, but are rather neutral and informative.

This was always an obvious candidate for a DLC, being the closest real-life conflict to what typically happens in Command. I'll almost certainly buy it, though goodness knows when I'll get around to playing and reviewing it, as there's so much other content. My main concern is that it will duplicate the existing Falklands Standalone scenarios, some of which were on the small and luck-orientated side.

- 13 Scenarios plus 2 Bonus Scenarios including units not present or available during the war.

Regarding this, is one of the bonus scenarios related with a possible intervention of Chile?

An interesting read with the real role of Chile and a helpful radar.
