Why is the base game not compatible with the updated version? in the Matrix download page? I downloaded the base gae then tried to update it with the installer and I am not able to update the base game per the above error message.

I have been fighting this "fix" for a week, it cost me 4 games and alot of time, mine downloaded but didn't fully install so pbem and the port issues are still there. good luck

Are you guys on Steam? I wonder if they never updated Steam. I tested it on my end.
