I can't load any scenario in 1286 and changed back to 1285, now this one works with them. Still testing but I think it would just like 1285 in this department.

That seemed to do the trick (at least on my machine). Thank you for the continuous stream of improvements and support.

Best regards, RPS

Cleared the 2 issues I had.

Thanks!

Not crashing on startup now either. Looks like a good fix. Thanks!

Emmm... 1286.1A can't load my 60M+ saves. 1285 can, albeit with difficulty.

The crashing has stopped. However, the autosave still does not work.

Turned off my anti-virus as usual first, but when I tried to download the patch 1286.1A from the link above, it appears to download as usual but then displays a warning that says it "Couldn't download--virus detected." I also then turned off the Microsoft Defender Antivirus that was running and still got the same message after numerous attempts. Anyone else run into this issue or know what a solution is if there is, in fact, no virus?

Otherwise, I'd like to report a virus in the patch 1286.1A.

CMO uses some obfuscation for protecting their IP. It seems changed between 1278 and 1282.

btw: 1282 and later do run slower than 127x. I may run some benchmark using the build in function when I have the time.

Can this be added by itself to 1285.1, or do I need to d/l the rest of the 1286.1 package?
The boogabooga doctrine for CMO: Any intentional human intervention needs to be able to completely and reliably over-ride anything that the AI is doing at any time.

This package has a single EXE file, I had it overwritten on my 1285 setup and it works.

Many "complete" update packages have a bunch of dll and other files that didn't updated as often as the main executable.
