Italy can not export oil to Germany

Italy seized the oil fields in Iraq. Great! The Fuhrer demands some of the oil for Germany! Ow wait...
Italy can't do that. They can only export to Italy's minors.

The Fuhrer is not pleased with this restriction! Finally the Italians have made themselves useful and now they keep all the oil for themselves. Booooo

Can this be changed?

Since Italy is a minor power I do not believe so.

Though you should be able to change ownership of territory in my eyes...
Italy ends up with territory in Russia and other places that just make a mess of the map.

Changing control of map hexes would also work. I think I can make an event for that if need be. Unfortunately, for this game that event can not be introduced anymore. But I still think trade between Italy and Germany should be possible.

And I agree that the map can look messy with Italian hexes scatrered over parts of Russia.

Italy is actually a major power which is why hexes convert to their control they just don't export same as USSR, France. you have to watch how much you take with them, but the middle east probably be about right usually they need 20 or so a turn from Germany to function

Yeah, taking the Iraq oil with Italy is ok, but you better think twice before taking the Persian oil with them. You had better send a German unit there to do the Honours!

This is a tough one.

Allowing Italy to trade would mean the Germans would just take all their PPs filling out their logistics pool 1st.

Same issue with France. They are not allowed to trade for the same reason.

But I can add in an event that changes control of the oil fields to Germany as that would seem appropriate.

Yes, an event could be a simple solution. Especially the Persion oil field would qualify for it. The Fuhrer would give the Duce a good spanking if he would not have shared the oil
