Supply.txt Events fire on every turn

Playing a game I noticed something interesting

If I place a sub in one of the raid box hexes on the Canada/USA east coast the supply.txt event tied to it fires on every single turn. It fired on box the Axis and Allied turns.

Is this the intended functionality or should it only fire for the country specified in COUNTRY_ID's turn?

That is correct, they will fire every turn if triggered, so bear that in mind with their settings.
