This game engine would also make a fantastic WW2 simulator and worthy computer successor to the AH Panzer Leader/Blitz, GDW and SPI games on the subject.

It appears to me that this engine is on a path to becoming a land centric version of Command Modern Operations. A deep study of military operations.

I have not played with the editor but its mod friendly and editable so I'm sure we're going to see some interesting stuff and a 73/ 82 Middle East, 1991 Desert Storm and modern Ukraine is going to be done by someone(s).

As stated in other threads, we do plan on doing both a Modern War game engine and a World War game engine in the future to deal with the scale change and features needed to make both of those work completely.

My S-2 tells me that this seems to indicate that the Arab-Israeli wars have a place in the current engine.

Personally I'm hoping for Iran-Iraq war the most. The book by Pierre Razoux is fantastic.

That would actually be pretty interesting to see in this engine. As would exploring some Arab/Israeli and maybe even Desert Storm. Lots of direction one can go.
