Help

Post by nongodly »

Hi Guys,

I cant find a LOS tool for hex's that aren't occupied by friendly units, have looked everywhere, is there one?

And for some reason, likely my fault, on the big red one campaign (love it so far) the difficulty is locked to grognard apparently, but CCCP units are visible whatever I do. Is there a way of turning this off to make opposition units invisible?

Thanks in advance

I believe with LOS selected you shift click an empty hex.

LOS:
1. Select a friendly unit (whose spotting capabilities (thermal, NV, RADAR) match what you are looking for)
2. Enable the Line-of-Sight overlay for this unit (Unit Overlay, Line-of-Sight, or the LOS button in the bottom bar)
3. Shift-click on the hex for which you want to see LOS (given the selected unit's capability)

This shift-click ability works for many view, including for example, spotabble range.
If the hex you interested in is selected by a hostile (spotted) unit, make sure to click next to it, or to hide counters first (Ctrl+U).

Campaign difficulty settings:
These settings are frozen once you start the first scenario. To hide the opposing counters, be sure to start the campaign with none of the 'Enemy Units are always Visible' checkboxes enabled.
