Full screen and persistent multiple screen setup

Post by jmbourgon »

Hey there, possibly these have been addressed before and I missed 'em, but anyway... I ABSOLUTELY love this game, outstanding in so many ways, however there are a very options that I miss a lot...first is full-screen, I own and have frequently played the earlier in this "series" Flashpoint Campaigns and the DC "Germany reforged" and there is very simple option setting to set it to full screen. I saw it mentioned in the forum and floored by the devs answer...oh that so long ago, we forgot ?????

Then there is the issue of persistent setting for multiple screen users. I use 3 screens, and one of my favourite games which makes great use of this is Command Ops 2, I can set up all my desired info screens on my 2 auxiliary screen, so that I can consult them easily, and the main map screen UI on my center main screen. I have been able to, and love that aspect of FCSS, but the biggest difference is that I can save a game/scenario and when I reload it all my positioning of different info screens returns to how I it set up, that is astounding !! But in FCSS I can ABSOLUTELY do the same, and it's great, you can check all sorts of info while planning your moves without having to open and close several windows...however !!! when you save and close FCSS and later return to your saved game ALL your info screen and setup have disappeared...yeah, sure it's not a big deal to reset them, but it would be much easier and overall better if you followed the Command Ops 2 system which brings back your screen setup I you prefer it...

Please advise,

Thank you,

We are looking at the full screen option. The multi-screen setup being saved is a challenge with our current software, but I will add this to the QOL list we are generating and working on.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!
