Detection Levels of a Task Force

Post by Hano »

This might be a really dumb question and my apologies if this is blindingly obvious but I have overlooked it- How do I know what the Detection Level is for a naval unit?

What I mean is where is it displayed?

When you mouse over a task force, the detection level, (if there is one) is displayed on the second line down under the TF number. In the case of this spotted task force, 10/10.

There are two factors : Detection Level and Maximum Detection Level. I refer to you section 10 of the Manual for details, but DL (recent information) decreases way faster than MDL (slightly older information), and it’s MDL which determines whether the unit is visible on the map.
