Full screen task bar appearing when zooming map

New to this game. Enjoying the tutorial. I am running this game full screen and when i zoom in and out of the map the taskbar becomes visible on the bottom of the screen for a second each time i scroll the mouse wheel. Is there any work around to fix this besides running in window mode and hiding the taskbar?
