Game Error - The type initializer for '<Module>' threw an exception when loading scenarios

Hello,

I have purchased CMANO, and it launches fine, but I am not able to load any scenarios at all. I am getting the error show in the image. I'm on the steam version with Tacview and the Northern Inferno DLC. The error even appears when attempting to load tutorials or any other scenarios. I've reinstalled the game and verified integrity of game files.

I think you mean your bought CMO given the version stamp. CMANO is the prior version from years ago, just bring it up as in future could get confusing. Anyway...

During installation did you\it run the .net 4.8x framework runtime installer? If not you can find it in your <whereeverinstalled>\PreRequisites\dotNetFx48_Full_setup.exe; you may also have to run the PreRequisites\directx_Jun2010_redist\DXsetup runtime installer for dx9 if on a newer system, VCruntimes too perhaps (but start with .net 4.8 and go from there). Steam usually handles that stuff for you but sometimes it doesn't. One or both may require a reboot after installation.
