Unit teleportation after liberation

Post by Moonchild »

Happy New Year to all,

The British armour unit moved into & liberated Djibouti (upper right position). At the end of the allied turn it automatically teleported to a far-away position (lower left).

I think it would be better in such case(s) that the unit was moved to the "closest friendly hex in supply" , "closest friendly city in supply" or similar, rather than so many hexes away.

Hi

I'm just trying to understand the exact trigger for the unit's move, did it coincide with the fall of France by any chance?

Thanks

No, France had been conquered in early '41. I don't think there was any political event (surrender or dow) at the same turn.

Thanks Moonchild, I have found the reason for the event firing - and that there is an error in it!

I will get it fixed for the next patch.
