The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) did a
wargame/simulation study with a report/webcast release today.

The First Battle of the Next War: Wargaming a Chinese Invasion of Taiwan

It seems Taiwan holds out, but all participants take *heavy* losses.

No naval battles of that scope have been fought in a long time.

I wonder how they calculate the human losses. Seem too few to me compared to the tonnage sunk.
