I'm confused on how MPP income is calculated.

-For example does there need to be some sort of road/rail/land/port connection to your capital (or alternate capital or industrial center?) to get MPP from resources at the full rate? I notice that the Norilsk mine has a long road which connects it to the USSR network. Does this have any function, and if so does the USSR lose the MPP income from Norilsk if you "cut off" this road? Or take the Nauru phosphate mine, at strength=3 it produces 6 MPP, but there is no convoy back to its owner. Does Japan get 6 MPP from this mine or not? I believe the answer is yes but I can't find confirmation.

-The manual states that minor countries always get an industrial modifier of 100%. So does this mean that your minor allies provide 100% at all times regardless of your own industrial technology? For example Bratislava provides 10 MPP to Germany in 1939 when Germany's Industrial Tech is at 0 and has a base Industrial Modifier of 50%, so Bratislava actually provides more early MPP (10 * 100% = 10) than Vienna (12 * 50% = 6)? Does this rule apply only to allied minors or to conquered minors also?

-Occupational Efficiency: Everyone has 80% except for USSR (60%) and Italy (100%). What would be a specific example where Italy would get more out of a resource due to this modifier? I have sometimes noticed that the max strength values in Iraq are higher when I have conquered or diplo-annexed Turkey, connecting Iraq to the European rail network, but I also seem to recall Iraq once did better when I gave it to Italy instead of Germany. Is this true? It could be simply that conquering Turkey doesn't allow for resource strength in Iraq to increase quite as high as if Turkey joins your side.

You are right, the answer is yes.

It applies to all, though the Occupation Efficency denotes the maximum strength of occupied resources, therefore captured Soviet resources will - all other things being equal - be of less economic and supply value to the Axis than French resources.

Hopefully it all makes more sense now?

Oh, I was misunderstanding it. It's actually a good thing to have low OE. It hurts your opponents. I thought it meant that you can occupy enemy resources more efficiently :lol:
