Rearming ships with cargo

I loaded some ammunition in a container, loaded the container onto a helicopter, and sent the helicopter on a "Transfer" mission to a ship (tried this with multiple different types), intending to do a VERTREP-style rearming. I read on https://command.matrixgames.com/?p=5496 that "Ammunition in cargo containers that is delivered via a cargo delivery mission will go into the magazine of the destination facility." However, my helicopter transfers the container of ammunition to the ship's cargo tab rather than the magazines tab. I tried clicking "Unload Cargo" on the ship's menu (which seemed to work when trying to get ammo from an Ammo Bunker's cargo tab to its magazine tab) but nothing happened. I also checked to make sure that the database number of the ship's ammo matched the ammo in the container. I also tried using a helicopter with an air-drop capable loadout to no avail. Am I doing something wrong here, or is ammo replenishment of ships not possible with Transfer missions in Cargo 2.0?

I'm using V1.05 build 1307 on Steam
