Board games to Computer game

Post by smee »

Hi

I was wondering if anyone ever made a computer version of “Gladiator” the old Avlon hill game, or "circus maximus". Both excellent board games. ( Oldies but goldies )

Or would Matrix consider these as posible games for developement.

I have never encountered it, but when you consider the bajillion titles that have come and gone already.

You might try asking in here.

There was an X-Box version of Circus Maximus released last year - I don't think it made it to PC.

A google search found this for Gladiator:

I used to enjoy both of these games, albeit with slightly modified rules. We changed the movement for Circus to an "impulse" based system so that chariots could not "boom & zoom" past a motionless opponent.

Latest version is Areena5. Actually they are no longer shareware, but freeware which means they are completely free.
