Mod Crashes during Hero Creating

Post by Gerry4321 »

Hello: Wondering is anyone else seeing the same thing? Every time it tries to create a Hero it crashes.
Thanks,
Gerry

Hello Gerry.

The program should not break when the AI creates a Hero.

The only thing I can think of is that you have an old version of the game counters installed and/or an old Units matrix.

Some time ago, at the request of a friend from the forum, I changed the characteristics of the Heroes so that they do not have so much combat strength in a melee. Check that you have the current version.

Hello, yes I remember that. I think we also talked about having a maximum of one (two?) heroes at any one time?

Yes, exactly. The original idea was that the Heroes had too much strength in Melee, with a DRM +2 or +1, and this characteristic unbalanced the scenario.

On the other hand, it was proposed to limit a maximum of 1 Hero simultaneously on the scenario. The problem is that it is the AI itself that has 2 Heroes fixed simultaneously on the scenario and this "instruction" cannot be modified. It belongs to the software code.

Finally it was decided to randomly lower the DRM of the Heroes to +0 or +1.

This has been all that has been done about it.
