Can you check on the economics of a base?

I'd like to be able to see how my resort bases are doing economically? Same for mining and research bases, if only to see their individual costs. Any way to do this?

For costs: The maintenance cost of every design is listed in the ship design table, and when creating or adjusting the ship design.

Unfortunately you can't see how much an individual resort base earns, you only can see your overall income and then compare that with the maintenance cost.

When you work with resort bases you should be careful with them until you can gain good income from them. They will cost maintenance which is deducted from taxes while only giving you additional annual income. This means that in the early game especially their maintenance might not be worth it if you can't afford full funding for research or development.

Most people seem to think that scenery bonus is the most important thing... it is not, at least not early on. It is much more important that they are close to your colonies so the transport ships can conduct more trips. In the early to mid game make sure the distance to the resort bases are not too far.

Obviously this is true for all your resources in the game.
