Russia, China, S. Africa exercise

Anyone have a possible OOB for the exercise happening in SA?

Currently the Russian Admiral Gorshkov with Zircon missiles and the new SA navy MMIPV boats are to be involved apparently.

A french navy boat also pulled in to the Durban port recently https://africaports.co.za/#6330 along with a russian research vessel in Cape Town https://www.news24.com/news24/southafri ... t-20230128

Also the ship Lady R dropping off something a couple weeks back in Cape Town https://www.defenceweb.co.za/featured/d ... mons-town/

Possible scenarios here too. Starting to be enough content here to spark a Tom Clancy Jack Ryan season.

Okay, found the following:

"The three navies will be taking part in Exercise Mosi II and will include the frigate SAS Mendi and inshore patrol vessel SAS King Sekhukhune, the Russian frigate Admiral Gorshkov and three Chinese Navy vessels – one thought to be a destroyer, one a frigate and the third a support vessel."

Also USAF refuelers in the area on Southern Hemisphere tour https://www.defenceweb.co.za/aerospace/ ... here-tour/

Hmm... I might look at making something here on a larger (regional) scale... the geopolitical side has also been busy with diplomatic meetings and sanction talk, some good story bones here.
