Wite2 beta , 51 race to Caucasus

Trying to set HQ's to assault, won't let me says 3 is the most you can have. I currently don't have any but when I try to it tells me this,soI cannot set any to assault. :shock:

Do you have enough APs? I just tied it on turn 1 for the Germans and was able to set a HQ as assault.

Yes I'm doing right off the bat. Think you have 20 or 25 to start.Are you trying it on the new Beta ver 51. I have like 60 ap right now n still won't set assault.

Yes I'm doing it right at the start. I'm using beta version 51. Did you try it using this version.

Ok, I was able to get it to repeat, but I found a workaround. If you load the scenario and than press 0 to go to the OB screen, it will show that you have 3 Assault HQs (3 Max). If you leave the screen and then return to it you'll see it has been reset and it shows nothing about Assault HQs. You can then assign a HQ as an assault HQ. I find this to be true with 1.02.45 using the latest scenario file, so either this has always been like this, or the scenario file somehow got corrupted with some delayed HQs being assault groups. It looks like this can be fixed in the scenario data file, but in the meantime you can use the workaround. Thanks for the report.
